If you are confused, I'll explain in a bit more detail. Better yet, I'll just tell you what I did.

First off, you take two beef hotdogs, I used Bar S Beef Franks. Then you cut along the hotdog, length-wise, creating a canyon in the 'dog. Fill this canyon with delicious cheddar cheese. Here comes the real kicker. Now wrap both dogs with a strip of bacon each (once again, Bar S) and fry 'em up. It wasn't until I put one of these heavenly hotdogs in my hoagie roll that I realized that I could fit them both in one roll and create the wonderful concoction you see above. Seriously, you have no idea how good it was. I mean, really, it was perfect. I put some hot sauce in one of the dogs, but not enough for it to make a difference. I also added some Mexican Seasoning, but I don't think that changed things much either. I'll have to experiment. Delicious, delicious experimentation.
I saw something today, on my way to class, that really hit home deep in the soft spot of my cold hard heart. As of late I have been walking up behind the UW motor pool (across from Blockbuster on 25th) as I can hear my music better walking away from the street. That's where I was when I happened to look down and view the object that filled me with a feeling of despair deep within the pit of my stomach. There, on the sidewalk was the last half inch or so of a Nestle Drumstick ice cream cone. It was laying in the sun, a little bit of melted ice cream dribbling out the open end, curdling in the morning sun. At first the sight did very little to effect me, but then I remembered a terrifying fact: at the bottom of each Nestle Drumstick is a little dab of chocolate, the addition to the traditional ice cream cone that has made the Drumstick such a legend. Handed down by no less than God himself, the inclusion of chocolate at the bottom of each Drumstick has delighted ice cream fans for years, turning what would be a so-so at best, indeed a mediocre last bite, into the highlight of the whole experience. Now, here, lay that last delicious bite, most likely lost by some erroneous slight of hand or, worse yet, by some poor soul who, not knowing the majesty of the Drumstick, threw the last piece away, not knowing the treasure he so quickly discarded.

The thought made me give pause and stop for a moment, giving reverence to the fallen Drumstick. Here, contained in one mouthfuls-worth of confectionery genius, lay the potential for happiness, the prospect of a heavenly ice cream experience, tossed casually on the side of a small, one way private access road, melting in the sun. It was too much for me to take as I tore my eyes from the horrific sight and hurried off to class.

So, I went to bed early hoping to get a good amount of sleep as I have a meeting at work, and then I am hanging out with my parents until I actually have to work, followed by hanging out with my parents some more. Unfortunately/ I am awoken at, oh, lets say 2am or so, and I cannot imagine a time in my life that I have more cold that I was then. It was the oddest thing, it wasn't cold in my room, in fact, none of my members were actually numb or my skin cold, I was just internally freezing. Indeed, as I dressed myself in warm clothing my skin actually got really hot, but I was still shivering so bad that I thought I might vomit. I didn't and eventually I was warm enough to get some more sleep. Then, lo and behold, around 4 I wake up again, being cooked alive in all the clothes I had dressed in to warm up. Since then I haven't been able to cool down enough to get back to sleep, despite my fan on full blast and my window wide open. On top of that, its stupid-faced daylight savings time, so instead of waking up at 2 and 4, I actually woke up at 3 and 5. Son of a bitch.

On the plus side I've been looking up concerts and (Yee will appreciate this) Murder by Death is playing with Two Gallants and William Elliot Whitmore on the 1st of June. I had never heard of Two Gallants and after hitting up their site and listening to some samples, I can honestly say that this concert is going to rule. Hard. Curious? Do yourself a favor and check out the new Murder by Death single "Brother" right here, some Two Gallants tracks over this a-way, and as for William Elliot Whitmore, the only music I can find of his on the web is a 30 second video clip (if you are interested). The only other music I have of his I bought (gasp!) in iTunes music store. The best part of all this? The concert is only 10 bucks. Man oh man.

Yesterday was quite the package-ful day. Two whole packages and a $5.20 tax refund. That's right, I'm rolling in it. The fact that I didn't have to import it makes it the more sweet(er?). It's just a shame they are not coming to Seattle. Boo.

Not to suggest that Jess and I are obsessed with poop (heh) but I had a weird near prophetic dream last night involving bathrooms. Kevin knows the story; my dream went a little like this (paraphrased as to not get to detailed): I was in one of those one person bathrooms in some hall on campus (I don't remember which one it was). For whatever reason, right in the middle of everything the toilet backs up and poo water starts to fill the room to point where I am treading water. I then open the door and poo water goes pouring into the halls. All the papers that I used to study were ruined.

The weird part was during my final today I suddenly needed to go to the bathroom. I panicked. What if the dream was some sort of warning? What if someone took my papers while I was gone? What if I got locked in the bathroom or something? Well, as it turns out, I was fine, no big deal. Either way, I found it interesting/an opportunity to talk about poo water.
